About Annie

Owner and Founder

Hi there! I’m Annie. An aspiring minimalist. Lover of nature, pancakes, and dystopian books.

My love of gardening began in New York City. While living in the East Village I discovered tiny community gardens tucked in between buildings. I quickly joined one on my block and fell in love. I learned so much from my fellow community gardeners and it was an incredible experience to learn and connect with other gardeners in that way.

I have since moved back to the Midwest and have continued on with my gardening adventures. My family and I built and maintain a 324 square foot urban garden in Clintonville.

Growing food has brought me so much joy. It has been the basis for many things in my life including my love of cooking, my desire to take better care of our planet and environment, and even my drive to live more simply and minimally.
