A Formal Potager Garden in New Albany, OH

This formal potager kitchen garden was a dream to design and install at this beautiful Columbus, Ohio home. We included 4 very large, cedar raised beds with plenty of space in the center of the garden for a farm style table.

We used 2 moon arched trellises and 2 custom panel trellises for lots and lots of vertical growth. The best part of formal potager gardens is that you can step into the space and feel like you are being transported into a magical space with lots of beautiful herbs and plants. It becomes like an outdoor room. 

This was a three day project. Day one was removal and pathways. Day two was raised beds, soil, and trellises. And day three was planting.

We planted over 500 plants in this gorgeous kitchen garden and we are so excited to watch it grow!
